About Me

Steve Van Hooker serves as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Member of MATAURO, LLC. Since beginning his career in financial services in 2009, Steve has developed extensive experience in both the operational and strategic aspects of the business.

At MATAURO, Steve plays an integral role in coordinating & implementing client strategy, technical support, and overall client service. As the leader of the firm’s Operations Team, he is committed to developing strong internal systems, cultivating talent, and managing internal initiatives—including overseeing and training administrative staff, and emerging financial professionals to ensure the highest level of service and execution. He also serves as a key point of contact in cultivating and maintaining relationships with the firm’s valued outside partners.

Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University where he studied Finance and Economics. He currently lives in Bernardsville, New Jersey, with his wife, Jessica, and their daughters, Nora & Rylan. Outside of work, Steve enjoys traveling, following sports, pursuing a variety of personal interests, and most importantly spending quality time with friends and family.
